BASIC INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE LEAVING EARTH (BIBLE) 6 CHARITY -‘Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.’ Luke 3:11

BASIC INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE LEAVING EARTH (BIBLE) 6 CHARITY -‘Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.’ Luke 3:11

The Bible teaches us the importance of the spirit of giving, abenevolent culture that we all need to endeer and help the less fortunate in life, who, irrespective of colour , race, religion, creed or political orientation are all family, our brothers and sisters, so as we enter the festive season, bring some cheer and warmth into the hearts of those in need by giving freely to them. We all have different gifts in life, some are born with them, some inherit them and some achieve them in life but real meaning is when we use our gifts to make a difference in other people’s lives.

As the Bible , says about One’s gift in life, ‘If it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.’ Romans 12:7-8, I urge everyone to practice this and help the less fortunate. The help you give can be anything stretching from helping an elderly person, a blind person or less able bodied individual cross a road safely, carry a heavy load of shopping, vacate a seat for them on a bus or train, feed the hungry and homeless, donate used clothing, books, blankets, household items and other materials to charity, spend time talking to and giving company to the lonely and elderly.

It is imperative for us all to look at how best we can make a difference in this world. Please share these verses with friends and family worldwide and build a true Christian spirit, think about others, not yourselves, make adifference in this world and share the warmth of the Christmas spirit with the whole world, and most of all don’t let charity be a one off or Christmas activity.

Let us all use this festive season to help the homeless child, living in a box, under a bridge, the marginalised, suffering, blind, disabled, unemployed people in need because what they are experiencing could be yourself tomorrow, your family and no one ever wants to see anyone suffer, go hungry , naked and homeless. Lets all lend a helping hand no matter how small, we can all make a difference together. We should all be inspired by a norm of  simply giving to the less fortunate and needy.  Enjoy the Bilblical scripture in my series of  BASIC PRINCIPLES BEFORE LEAVING EARTH (BIBLE) 6 CHARITY -‘Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.’ Luke 3:11  Remember :2 Timothy 3:16-17 ’16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work’.
